The traditional village pub, first licensed in 1870 but dates back many moons before then, picturesque, brick and flint, open fire, bar, saloon and dining room. Serving ales, beer, wines, spirits and home-made pub-style food; soups, salads, steaks, sharer plates, burgers, fish, lamb, chicken and wild boar (often locally sourced).
BIg lawn garden with swings and things for kids, lots of great walks to and from here and dogs are welcome in. Steak Night Tuesday, Quiz and Specials Thursday, annual Beer festival, Bonfire Night and other lively events throughout the year shape the atmosphere of this friendly local.
