Lord Clyde

Recently visited this pub on recommendation from our landlady when holidaying in the Peaks. This is a fantastic pub with a modern (but classy) feel run by young chef/landlord who only took it over last year. Food was first class and we particularly enjoyed "Flavours of the North West" starter and the "Tasting of local pork". The beer also first class and was some of the best kept I have tasted for a while. I really enjoyed the well kept Flowers Original and Old Speckled Hen. Overall, a great setting, great food, great beer and a young, hard working landlord who deserves success. Would highly recommend that the Good Pub Guide makes a visit and happy if you want to publish this comment.
