Seems to get better with each visit. I remember when this pub (under a different name) left a lot to be desired but now days it's very welcoming with a good selection of well kept beer and excellent and very reasonably priced food. (Excellent fish and chips often on various offers which change too often for me to be specific; and decent pasta dishes.) Probably the best value food in the area. Really pleased to see this place thriving. Good access for the disabled and a nice atmosphere all round. Maybe not a prime candidate for a main entry but certainly one of the better lucky dips. (a star maybe?)
