Pretty 18th-c tile-hung pub, enjoyable good value home-made food (should book weekends), Hop Back Summer Lightning and three guests, friendly prompt service, cosy beamed and panelled bar, log fire, pine furniture in big new dining conservatory; children welcome, grassed area at front with picnic-sets and huge eucalyptus, sizeable garden and play area behind, open all day Sun

Proper traditional pubs like this are getting hard to find. Super home made food, beer and service. Well worth the trip, beautiful place, staff are friendly, children welcome , Huge back garden, Will go back again
