Hadn't been in this pub for many years & was so very surprised. Having been a regular user since it was a tiny flag stone floor cupboard. I had seen the internal extension which was done with exceptional style. Now the whole of the rear has been changed from the tiny layered garden to a huge outside conservatory used by the smokers with heaters, a very neat garden area with a brilliant decking addition at the very top rear. Where did all the land come from. It's an amazing facelift & I just loved it.
We returned with the family for Sunday lunch and without saying it was the best ever ever, we all had something different, we all wished we had had what someone else had ordered and we all enjoyed it at a very reasonable price. They also did a small portion for the kids but I think we all helped each other out. Roast Beef, Roast Chicken & the Pork, Apple & Brie Pie was out of this world.
It didn't matter which pub you chose in Denham back then, the Green Man was always everyone's favourite and always the one you all ended up in last to discuss who what & where you had been & seen.
The staff are a great asset and it wouldn't work without them all being together. A very big thank you to eveyone.
Oh yes, I forgot the beer... A Great Selection for everyone's taste and all at good prices including my fave London Pride.... Don't ever let this pub go down hill too many people would cry.
