Good Pub Guide Recommended
The heart of this refurbished 18th-c village pub is the cheery low-beamed front bar, where drinkers and eaters mingle in a friendly atmosphere, warmed in winter by a cosy inglenook woodburning stove. From the bar, a door leads into a separate little dining room where you will see a rare plank and muntin screen. In the games room at the back you'll find a TV, games machine, darts, pool, juke box and board games. Attentive staff serve up to seven, usually local, well kept changing ales from brewers such as Clun, Hobsons, Salopian, Stonehouse, Three Tuns and Wye Valley, as well as Weston's farm cider and a good range of bottled beers; small garden.
