Cheerfully bustling beamed local with enjoyable bargain food from huge lunchtime sandwiches up (may ask to keep a credit card while you eat), quick friendly service, Wadworths IPA, 6X and guest beers, good value wines, big woodburner, bare black boards and flagstones, cottagey dining area; children welcome, disabled parking and facilities, picnic-sets in smallish garden with terrace, open all day wknds

Had lunch there Saturday 9th after a walk around Dinton Pastures ( opposite pub worth a wander around ) Had a Bacon and blue cheese pannini with side salad and small portion of chips. Very nice good service friendly as usual. The coffee is good value two cups from cafeteria.
