This 17th century inn situated in Westgate Louth is worth a mention if only for its ‘Beer n Bangers’ festival, held for two weeks spanning the Spring bank holiday every year. Offering over 30 different beers this year, most with names too saucy to mention on these pages, and approximately 10 different sausages served with mash potato and onion gravy, all at very reasonable prices, we enjoyed a good lunch.
