Traditional Suffolk pub close to the Suffolk Heritage coast run by the same family for over 12 years. Emphasis on local and local organic produce including a wonderful selection of home-made vegetarian meals and puddings.
The main room is dominated by an enormous open fireplace and a high rafted vaulted ceiling. Beautiful floral garden overlooked by the thatched village church with a separate round bell tower unique in Suffolk. Opposite the church and pub garden is an unusual crinkle-crankle wall.
Landlady Amanda makes her own marmalade, jam and chutney as well as cakes to take home.
Families welcome and dogs welcome. Occasional live music.
