Everyone loves the Plough, it's part of the reason I moved to Harborne. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and the best beer garden that I've found in the Birmingham area. See you there!

What can I say about The Plough, well for one...Wow!
I have lived in Harborne for several years and this is the one pub I know I can count on for consistency of high quality. Others are okay, but The Plough always delivers!
It's amzing what they have done with the place, especially introducing 3 hand pulled ales and the 2-4-1 offers midweek. Winters are cool with their quirky drinks and amazing menu.
Although I'm not a smoker, I do enjoy sitting outside, with the ever adapting garden, suited to everyones needs. with plenty of comfy seating and heaters.
All in all, I must say it's my favourite pub for any occasion. The staff are very polite, and also witty, which my friends & I have always enjoyed the banter with.
If I was to vote Birminghams top pub, hands down, The Plough would be it! Keep up the good work guys!

I like The Plough.
It does good food.
And the drinks are nice.
They stay open until 11pm, some nights until 12.
The pizza is nice especially.
I like it.
If you haven't been I think you should.
The landlord is nice.

a great convenient setting in a great part of town.
charming staff with a flamboyant host -make it the place to be seen
Their customer-centric approach allows for an ever changing menu and flexible opening hours.
My allegiance has now moved from the Royal Oak

I have to say this pub has gone up a notch in the past year. Fantastic refurb, great selection of drinks / guest ales, and the pizzas are spot on. These things alone are enough for me to keep going back regularly, but for me, what swings it above many other similar pubs is the landlord. So welcoming, knowledgeable, and to look at him, he clearly recognises the importance of testing his products regularly to ensure consistent quality.

the plough is a fantastic pub, with a great live music night on thursdays. the food and ales are brilliant, with offers on throughout the week, especially the 2 for 1 deals on pizzas, burgers and pies. the staff are extremely welcoming, and the warm atmosphere ensures return visits.

the plough is a very warm and inviting pub, great for families and groups of mates. It has a lovely atmosphere created by brilliant decor and quirky fixtures. it definately isn't let down by the garden either, completely bespoke it allows maximum space and comfort. it offers a wide range of drinks and although they only have three ales, there are always good, and with an almost weekly change to the guest ale the plough keeps things fresh.
the food is something special. there is plenty to choose from and so there is always something you're in the mood for. Also it has great meal offers to combat our shrinking wallets.
my visits there are always pleasurable, and the staff there are so polite and incredibly attentive to our needs...and i think its fair to say they're very easy on the eyes.
all in all, the plough is a fantastic pub that is so easy to wile away hours.
