Checked out this pub after several friends recommendations. I should have done it earlier. Good service, real ales (all very well kept), excellent food (full menu - the fish & chips are great - & a VERY extensive carvery), decor better than a lot of restaurants, good value for money. Have now been several times & only confirmed my initial impression on each occasion.
