Well run busy pub with decking and conservatory overlooking River Test, spacious beamed and carpeted bar with fishing paraphernalia, rustic pub furnishings and woodburner, Adnams Best, Gales HSB, Hop Back Summer Lightning, Palmers Gold and Wadworths 6X, lots of wines by the glass, wide range of popular reasonably priced bar food all day (order from separate counter), good, courteous service; piped music; well behaved children and dogs on leads welcome

I am not a firm beleiver of recomendations or internet reviews/ comments, but I would say that haveing enjoyed a superb meal at this pub on Friday 5th March [paid for by wife for birthday present] to anyone who is intrested to go and eat there, the service ,beer and food especially Duck rates at least 9 out of 10.
