We went here last w/e. It is a lovely old pub tone floor, wooden beams and fantastic views if you are brave enough to sit outside in this weather! The pub does not have a cellar which is usual for a pub of this age. We had a bacon and brie baguette which came with a fantastic salad and a side order of chips which were huge - even by our standards. There are some nice walks around the lanes nearby to walk off lunch if you feel the need. Full meals seemed reasonably well priced and everyone was very helpful and we enjoyed our visit. Walkers welcome!

The location is indeed wonderful; a sense of true peace and isolation backed up by the fine views of fields full of lambs (at the moment, anyway) and red kites patrolling overhead.
The pub itself is unspoilt and attractive with pleasant staff.
Whilst enjoyable the baguettes could have been a bit more generously filled for the money.

Great location, nice beer, however somehow the food always disappoints, looks good on the board but not on the plate.
