Owned & run by Mark & Kath Eleveld, The Keystone is one of a very small number of independent public houses in Guildford. Regenerated in the autumn of 2003 from a grimy, wet-led, town-centre boozer, we have worked hard to re-instigate the traditional values of the British Pub; Real Ale, Real Food, Efficient Service & Good Company, all in a safe, welcoming & warm environment with a modern feel. The refurbishment included the addition of a catering kitchen, our continuous reinvestment in which demonstrates how seriously we take this side of the business. Flavours are robust; cooking is straightforward and most definitely unpretentious; dishes focus on those pub favourites with additions as the seasons dictate. Walkers welcome; we don't mind those muddy boots! (Sorry, dogs on the patio only.) There are several lovely circular walks that either start at The Keystone or meet us half way.
