Having been a regular to this pub I can confirm it has good beer and friendly staff and until recently good food. The beer and staff remain, unfortunately the food no longer meets the standard. There is a reduction in the standard off food being served (small potions) and the cost has increased by 20%.
My advice stick with the beer avoid the food.
