What they say
Martin and Sharon welcome you to enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere of their charming country inn. Our traditional English pub is set in the picturesque village of Barrowden in Rutland. Situated in the heart of the village, overlooking the village green and duck pond, you can enjoy our home made menu and award winning real ales all year round.

The Exeter Arms serves traditional food of a high standard at affordable prices. We serve home brewed ales that are brewed onsite by Martin in his very own award winning micro-brewery.

In the summer, enjoy the extensive garden which is home to our very own patanqe court, along with plentiful seating and grassed area ideal for the whole family. In the winter, enjoy the roaring log fires and cosy atomosphere of the Exeter Arms Barrowden.

Beautiful pub, great location, good food, rude landlord. What a shame. Plenty of other friendly pubs in the area - give this one a miss unless you want some attitude.

Fantastic country pub overlooking the welland valley. the views are truly outstanding
