Great pub. We stopped off for a meal on a long trip down the A1. Well worth the short diversion. Friendly welcome and they fitted us in despite being very busy. Good choice of beers and wine for the non driver. Excellent food.

This is an excellent pub, very freindly landlord and excellent staff. Well kept beer. The food was of a very high standard, and reasonable priced. An great place to use when on the A1. We will certainly spread the word about this pub. Should be in the guide, not just lucky dip
