Licensee information

Licensee name
James Brown
What they say
Nottingham and Notts CAMRA 2010 Pub of The Year. 14 real ales and 5 ciders on at any one time, including exclusively brewed CAD, Bounder & Scoundrel all at £2.10 a pint. Just like its sister pub the Chesterfield Arms in Chesterfield, both were only opened in 2009 by David Brown and his 2 sons James & Oliver (all previously of The Dead Poets Inn at Holbrook - beware of imitations.)
The Crown has been lovingly taken back to an old fashioned traditional real ale pub with snugs, whisky bar and even its own confessional room. Most importantly there are no pool tables, fruit machines or televisions.
Although we do not offer hot meals we do offer a great selection of freshly made cobs, pork pies, scotch eggs, pasties and cheese boards.
A true gem of a pub. Are you a Crown Ale Drinker yet ?
