Lucky Dip

Cheerful proper country pub with friendly hands-on tenants, comfortable bar with enormous log fire and good choice of Fullers/Gales ales, nice coffee, neat staff, two appealing little dining rooms on left, attractively priced pubby food with more exotic evening choices; children and dogs welcome, pony paddock by good-sized garden, good disabled facilities, open all day

The Castle is a pub located near the centre of the village of Rowlands Castle. It has good parking and is close to Stansted Park Estate which is good for walks.

The atmosphere is good English country pub, warm open fires, rustic decor, friendly staff and plenty of good ales.

When I went in they had Gales and Fullers on tap along with the usual lagers. I am hoping to go back for food soon as the menu looked great and offered good English fayre.
