A fantastic country dining pub, excellent food with an extensive local seasonal a la carte menu & bar menu. The staff are very polite, efficient & caring. The landlord has succeeded in turning this establishment around to become one of the best in the area!! It is a pub where all the locals go and are well received (its where I go all the time) so if you want a pub with local approval - ignore grockles who are just rude and unappreciative of what we class as Devon Dining Pub of the Year 2011.

Attitude from the owner on ordering was very rude against non locals visiting the pub
