Blue Bell

This is a lovely country village pub which serves excellent food and drink. We have had several meals here in recent weeks and have always received excellent service from friendly, courteous, and attentive staff. The food has always been beautifully cooked from locally sourced produce, and it has been beautifully presented on the plate. The food tastes great and everyone in our various groups has enjoyed it. We have sampled a decent proportion of the menu from the simply super 'ham, egg, and chips', to a melt in the mouth 'steak and ale pie', and 'moroccan spiced tagine', and of course the beer battered fish and chips with mushy peas. Fantastic. The sweets are all home made and scrumptious: apple pie, sticky toffee pudding, Eton mess, the list goes on and on. The beers are well conditioned, too. Overall, a lovely place for a meal out. By the way, they have a special deal for Mondays where you can have soup with bread and butter for starter, a choice of main course, and a choice of dessert, followed by coffee or tea with a chocolate all for £10.
