The Black Horse has recently been taken over and fully refurbished to a high standard, it is warm and welcoming with a very friendly "olde worlde" feel, families are welcome and it has a traditional village pub atmosphere. The menu is superb with fresh cornish fish and a choice of 5 steaks (t-bone, sirloin, fillet, rump and ribeye) along with traditional pub favourites such as steak and ale pie, fish pie, scampi, Sunday Lunches etc, all at very keen prices (booking advisable). There is free entertainment on most weekends, from Rock and Pop, to Jazz evenings and tribute nights, and there is a large selection of beers and spirits including 2 real ales plus a guest real ale which changes regularly.
