This pub is one of three who are now selling a local pint see

Binghams Brewery is now brewing and hopes to open its on-site shop soon. We moved into our premises in Ruscombe at the end of August 2010 and since then we've been busy moulding the premises to be suitable for a real ale brewery producing beers with character and quality.

Ought to mention a mistake in your 2011 book. I think someone has mixed up this pub and the nearby Star. It says the Bell does Pizzas'. The Star does but the Bell does not..

We popped in during a circular walk for our usual Sunday sustenance. The sausages in their roll with sauted onion were as good as ever. We got talking about other pubs in this area as 'main entries' and feel it is time this pub was considered as one also - for the 2012 book of course. We feel it has many merits and we will go for a evening meal soon.

1) It is a real pub. Old fashioned lovely building

2) Nice garden at the rear

3) It is in a pretty village.

4) It does excellent beers

Popped in for a nice evening drink and noted they are doing various reasonably priced 'bar snacks' up to nine pm. I think they had a welsh rarebit ( with a twist) and other small dishes suitable if you had a large lunch and don't want a lot. Excellent selection of beers as usual.

Had a great lunch there today. I had their sausage in a roll ( excellent bread, two very fine sausages)
with a side order of their skinny fries. The food is of the highest quality and cooked well. The chips
had nice seasoning and the dish of their own ketchup makes the meal!

Had lunch here today after circular walk around the village that had us seeing Shottesbrook church. I had a bacon sandwich - four pounds nice bacon. with a small side salad. I ordered a portion of chips for two pounds fifty which come with their own made tomato ketchup which are salted and have a sprinkling of cracked black pepper on them. Very nice!
