Lucky Dip

Cheerful bustling backstreet local with eight changing ales, decent wines by the glass, over 100 malt whiskies and quite a choice of spirits, enjoyable very good value bar food all day (till 6pm wknds), two small low-ceilinged rooms, lots of interesting old tins, cigarette cards on one beam, whisky labels on another, also beermats, old advertisements, photographs and posters; piped music; children welcome till 8pm, dogs on leads, a few pavement tables, open all day (till midnight Fri, Sat)

Very nice pub. Good food and friendly.
One thing though, children allowed in the bar area!
Not sure that was right!
Isn't it against the law????
