Only been twice but standard of refurbishment is incredibly good, staff are keen and attentive, food is fine and atmosphere laid back modern and fresh. This is the way forward for ailing british pubs - the main thing is you need enthusiastic people running the place rather than some dreary 'manager' who is there because it's his last chance saloon as it were. Well done all at The Barley Sheaf.
