This is a really great pub-resturant with accommodation situated on a tributary of the River Dart 10 miles from Dartmouth, close to Totnes and well worth the run out. The food is very tasty, plenty of it, and the menu is always changing to add interest. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. It is great walking country. We have had a couple of weekends there enjoying the countryside and coming back to relaxing evenings.

This is the quintessential riverside pub with heaps of old world charm especially in the winter months with the roaring fire. Located in a stunningly beautiful part of Devon The Waterman's Country Inn offers all that the pub lover would want - great food, excellent Palmers ales, comfortable accommodation and very friendly efficient staff. This is the ideal place for that relaxed friendly lunch or dinner or for that well deserved weekend break. I plan to spend heaps more time at The Waterman's in the future. Fully recommended and worth a visit.

This pub is situated in the most beautiful location imaginable. Wonderful friendly staff who couldn't try harder to make your stay as smooth and nice as possible. Great food at reasonable prices, I especially recommend the Sunday roast. Great selection of drinks at standard pub prices, made all the much better by the fact during nice weather you can eat or drink right on the riverbank. Its quite a friendly, family atmosphere with dogs welcome but for me this just added to the charm.

We are regular visitors to Devon and really enjoy this pub - it's a wonderful location and the food is always good. Our only negative is that service is often stretched at lunchtimes - on our last visit (yesterday, a weekday lunchtime) there was one (very friendly and efficient) barman serving both sides of a busy bar.

This is a pub I have loved for many years. Situated on a creek off the River Dart, next to Bow Bridge, it has a seating area next to the water's edge, a well-looked after patio and outside eating area, as well as cozy and comfortable indoor eating areas. It also offers accodomation on a B&B basis, and best of all welcomes dogs.

It is very popular in the summer months, but just as pleasant to visit in the winter when there is a roaring open fire in the bar, and the high tide washes the car park across the road.

The food is of a high quality, and is well presented, but not cheap. The staff are friendly and the hand pulled beer is well kept.
