The perfect pub. Excellent beers served directly from the cask, very good service, large well kept and presented outdoor facilities & pleasant internal bars plus a heated terrace. I most certainly recommend the Palmers 200 ale. Well worth the trek down some narrow lanes to find this establishment. The entry in the 2011 Good Pub Guide can be taken at face value in respect of this pub.
