Sourcing what ingredients they can from the Chatsworth Estate, the imaginative food (with restaurant prices) is cooked to order so there might be a wait at busy times. The short but well balanced changing menu could include crab scotch egg with coleslaw, spiced chick pea fritter with pineapple chaat and paneer, whole dressed crab, herb crumbed pollock with truffle mash, shallot sauce and garlic butter, goosnargh gold cheese, spinach and olive tart, steak and kidney pudding, and beef fillet with morel and madeira sauce and stilton crouton.
