This was a great pub until Sept 30, 2010 when the previous excellent landlady left. The new people ruined the place by alienating almost all of the regulars and treating drinkers as an inconvenience - they thought it could be a "posh" eaterie. Now they have decided to leave because it didn't work - the place is always empty. In the right hands this would still be a good pub so let's hope it turns out that way. We can have our favourite local then.
