Wine may be on the rise, cider has made a comeback - however there is only one true king of the pub - BEER.

Be it cask ale, premium lager, keg or bottle, there are thousands of different beers, different flavours, colours, strengths, techniques, smells and tastes - and all from the same basic ingredients. As the Good Pub Guide site grows we hope to track this wonderful world and give a flavour of what is going on within the world of brewing - from the largest multinational behemoth to the smallest micro brewery.

There are over 1000 breweries in the UK alone so there is much to do. However we are begining to collate as much information as possible from all connected with the business to be able to give all breweries the opportunity to promote their beer and achievements. The most important thing we want to do is to allow people to know where they can buy their favourite beers.
