Crufts Competition Terms and Conditions

1. This free prize draw is open to anyone aged 16 or over who is a resident of the UK or the Republic of Ireland, except for employees of The Random House Group Limited (the promoter, we, us), its group companies, families and any other company connected with the competition.

2. Entries may be submitted from 10th March 2010 and the closing date for the prize draw is midnight GMT of 14th March 2010. Entries that are illegible or received after this date will not be considered. The promoter is not responsible for entries delayed or lost. Proof of entering is not proof of receipt of entry.

3. The winner will be the person drawn at random by an independent person within 5 working days of the closing date stated above. The winners will be notified by email within a further 5 working days.

4. The prize (A selection of dog books from Ebury Publishing) must be claimed by winners within 6 weeks of notification that they have won by emailing the promoter and providing their delivery details.

5. Events may occur that render the awarding of this prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the promoter and the promoter may, at its absolute discretion, vary, amend, suspend or withdraw the prize with or without notice.

6. Winners agree to the promoter's use of their name, address and photograph in relation to the promoter's publicity material.

7. The winners' names will be available upon the promoter's receipt of a stamped addressed envelope.

8. The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the competition. No cash alternative will be offered.

Dog Friendly Pubs from the Good Pub Guide

The world's largest dog show, Crufts starts this week from the 11th - 14th March and what better way to honour man’s best friend than to take them along with you wherever you go. We have pulled together a list of some of our favourite dog friendly pubs around the UK, which you can see below or on a map here

Canteen took the London restaurant scene by storm in 2005. Here was a restaurant serving proper British food - devilled kidneys on toast, potted duck, pork pies, and treacle tart - with passion and pride. Their no-nonsense, modern-meets-classic menu has brought good British cooking to the high street once more, and prompted the likes of Gordon Ramsay, Terence Conran and gastropubs around the country to follow suit.
