Our new pub The Tommyfield launched this week

We opened our new pub The Tommyfield, in Kennington this week. The reaction has been overwhelmingly positive and we’ve been fantastically busy, attracting office workers both for lunch and after work drinks and the young, cool, crowd on Friday and Saturday nights, when we have a 1am licence!

Tommyfield

Named after the first chip shop in Oldham market, The Tommyfield’s menu focuses on excellent produce cooked simply. Our aim with the menu is to strike a balance between traditional food, such as pork belly, with more ‘old school’ dishes such as pie and mash. The blackboard is divided into fish, meat, pie and mash, dictated by what is fresh, fantastic and available that day. Our sustainable fish is sourced from British day boats and is offered grilled or battered, with chips or salad.

We’ve also tried to create a distinctive design with traditional steam boat lights, iron pillars, off-white tiles, a statuesque mahogany bar and an open-plan kitchen. So as well as great food and friendly service, we’ve aimed to ensure The Tommyfield is fashionable, up to date, yet inherently British.

So whether you join for a post-work drink, dinner or even a private party – we’ve got a stylish upstairs ‘Master Room’ which seats 40 for dinner and can hold 100 for cocktails – we’d love to see you at The Tommyfield soon.
