I'm Mitchel Adams, Landlord of The Thatchers Arms, Mount Bures. I have worked in the pub industry since my first job at the age of 16. I did take a brief forray into IT, but it didn't take long for me to return to the more sociable pub industry.

After working for a large pub company for several years, I took the plunge and bought my first pub in 2006. I am still at The Thatchers, and three years on I still love it. We focus on real ales, real food and a real welcome. We serve up to five Real Ales predominantly from local microbreweries, we serve freshly cooked, locally sourced food, and we smile!

I am extremely passionate about beer & food which will be reflected in my Blogs, I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.
