Top 10 Pubs for Women
If you’ve read this blog before, you’ll know that BitterSweet Partnership posts are about women, beer, and the British pubs that bring them together! Our research shows that women prefer to go to pubs that have great food, a friendly atmosphere, and good music. Armed with this knowledge, we have put together a top ten list of pubs that have what women want:
1. Ben Johnson in Oxfordshire has delicious food, friendly staff, and is well priced for a county gastro-pub. It also has a great selection of beers
2. Milton Arms in Cambridgeshire has an extensive menu with plenty of traditional pub meals. It is so popular that people travel from far and wide to visit
3. Crown Posada in Newcastle is a city-centre pub that has impressive architecture and relaxing piped music
4. Thomas Rigby’s in Liverpool serves fine food and a range of beers that have been sourced from across the globe
5. The Bulls Head in Greater Manchester is a Mediterranean inspired pub. It serves delicious tapas and has a selection of beers to complement the flavoursome dishes
6. The Glan Yr Afon Inn in North Wales ensures that female patrons feel comfortable and welcome. The pub prides itself on its variety of fine food and well lit car park
7. The Old Rectory in Kent hosts live music every Friday night. It also has a beautiful pub garden for those wanting a relaxing outdoor pint

10. The Mansion in London is renowned for its unique take on traditional pub grub. Located at the foot of Sydenham Hill this is a great pub for female dinners and drinkers
