Karaoke Classics!

At BitterSweet Partnership we frequently visit British pubs so we can give you our perspective on them. We understand that for some women going to the pub can be about socialising as much as it is about enjoying good food. Our most recent survey showed that 27% of women will choose to visit a pub based on the quality of the entertainment. We think that going to the pub for a light hearted pub quiz or to listen to a talented tribute band is great. But, what we really enjoy is getting all the girls together and belting out cheesy tunes at a karaoke.

It seems that we’re not the only ones who enjoy having a sing-along with our friends at the local. Charlotte Church and Myleene Klass were the queens of the karaoke at former Hear ‘Say star Noel Sullivan’s 30th birthday party. The celebrities enjoyed themselves at the Robin Hood in Pontcanna, Cardiff. They sung the night away to their favourite tracks in good karaoke spirit.

Enjoying a night of karaoke at the pub isn’t just for you girls to enjoy. Men also like to get involved and show off their musical talent. Robbie Williams showed this when he challenged his new father in-law to a round (we’re guessing that this is a competition Robbie usually wins). Across the pond the celebrities also love to sing their favourite karaoke tunes, like Demi Moore and Gerard Butler who were spotted singing their hearts out in Detroit.
